Been going here for probably over a decade and the food is always incredible, consistent, and huge portions. The bacon/cheese omelette and the Canadian omelette are huge, you definitely get what you pay for! The service is wonderful! If I had to offer any constructive criticism it would be the decor- it is absolutely beautifully decorated however with all of that, it is hard to keep dust away. Some of the artificial plants were caked with dust. Won’t keep me away though!

We stopped here for breakfast before going out to Cape Spear. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. I got the Touton Benedict and my mom got the Classic Breakfast with Bologna. Both were heaping portions and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and eclectic, we loved it!

Voted the best breakfast in St. John's for good reason! My husband and I enjoyed our visit so much we came back again the next day. Quirky charming decor supported by hearty portions of delicious food. I don't have good coffee in my hotel so I thoroughly enjoyed the giant mug I received shortly after being seated. Reminds me of a cross between the old Baker Street Cafe in Ottawa and Serendipity III in New York. Worth a visit (and another, and another...!)

Cafe was recommended to us, and glad we came! Had the Cape Spear Touton (nice variety of beans, fishcake, egg & bacon) and the Touton Breakfast Sandwich. Both were extremely filling, the breakfast sandwich in particular as it had the touton and hash browns. Perhaps a tad too many carbs in one meal! That being said, the food was delicious. Our first time visiting Newfoundland and we had to try their breakfast staple. Something we noticed was how sweet the molasses was, so if you're not into added sweetness, use it sparingly as a dip! The restaurant atmosphere is a little dark and some booths are rather snug, but there's a hominess to the space. Satisfying visit to The Bagel Cafe.

Service was amazing, the server remembered our names and went above and beyond to make sure the table was happy. The food prices seem high but the portions were pretty large. The atmosphere is neat very different spot

Our tour guide encouraged us to eat here and I am glad we did. Service was excellent and so was the food. I had potato skins and hubby had the 1/2 pound burger with Greek Salad.

I went by myself as a little treat. The server(So sorry, I forget you're name) was absolutely wonderful and a delight to interact with. Told me the special of the day and was very attentive with making sure my coffee mug was always full. I loved that I was offered a take away cup at the end to leave with the coffee as I still had a lot left by the time I was ready to go. The food was amazing. I had the Touton Benedict plus a side of toast. It was HUGE! Great sized serving and it was hot and fresh. The hashbrowns were heaven and the eggs were done to *perfection* I love how unique the place is and how cozy some of the tucked away corners are. Highly highly recommend!

All-day breakfast with a variety of sweet, savory, or combination options. Loyd’s also offers seafood dishes. I ordered the waffle with bacon—generous portions of crispy bacon and a waffle with a great texture. Served with a choice of fresh fruit, whipped cream, and table syrup. Casual and relaxed dining environment.
